Whether a specialist conference, company celebration or theatre gala: the culture and congress centre: the Stadthalle Mülheim an der Ruhr is the perfect location for events of all sizes. Behind its 1920s and 1950s façade, the Stadthalle not only offers attractive interiors, but also the latest technical equipment since its refurbishment.

After the entire lighting system on the ground floor and first floor was equipped with visual and technical highlights, the Stadthalle in Mülheim an der Ruhr now fulfils all the requirements of a modern congress venue. In just eight weeks, Elomech Elektroanlagen GmbH, together with other local service providers and companies from the ELOMECH Group, carried out the dismantling of the old installation, laid new cables and cable routes and installed all the light fittings.

In addition to the installation of the new sub-distribution boards in the foyer and in the large ballroom, the extension of the low-voltage main distribution boards and the cabling of the stage technology systems, the lighting ceilings with DMX control are one of the technical and visual highlights of the new lighting system. Thanks to this technology, around 15,000 colours can be generated almost seamlessly – a suitable play of colours for every customer and every event!

In addition to the lighting system, the information, communication and media technology has been significantly expanded. With the help of several plasma screens and state-of-the-art projector technology, visitors can now be welcomed and information provided. After eight weeks of intensive and focussed project work, after a lot of overtime and weekend work, the work was completed on schedule and to the client’s complete satisfaction. Perhaps it was the high motivation of our employees alone, or perhaps it was the blue glow of the new illuminated ceilings that created a positive and motivating mood during the construction phase, and not just from a psychological point of view.
